Our ferocious cat, Petunia, had already left the remains of one bunny in the yard this morning (along with a squirrel's tail). Several hours later, she was seen chasing this bunny. The ducklings shot out of the door to its rescue. Sugar Baby has always had a special place in her heart for bunnies & was the first to catch it. (Much to Petunia's dismay & annoyance.)
It was squeaking very loudly in this picture.
Right now, it is in a large bucket on the back porch with offerings of grass, lettuce, spinach & other assorted vegetables. (Neither of which it has touched.) We will trap Petunia in the house & then let it loose. Hopefully, it will be able to escape to safer territory.

Aaaaaaaw, *squeeeeal* wookit at the wittle bunny! So cute! We rescued a teeeeny baby bunny from a snake one year, but it was so small I had to take it to the vet to let them raise and release it :) We lub bunnies too!!
